Before I share the necessary Post UTME instructions, I would like to congratulate on your success in your Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Examination.
However, getting the right information; how to register for the 2018/2019 University of Ibadan Post UME will prevent you from committing avoidable errors that may jeopardize your chances of gaining admission into the prestigious university. To avoid mistakes, kindly go through the following steps, and you can also share with your friends and loved ones who will be enrolling for the UI Post UTME
The registrar of the University of Ibadan Olubunmi O. Faluyi, MCIPM, MAUA gave guidelines on how prospective students can register for the 2018/2019 Post UME
This is to inform candidates who made the University of Ibadan their institution of the first choice and scored 200 and above in the 2018 UTME that the University website will be open on Monday, 16 July, 2018 to Friday, 10 August, 2018 for the submission of their bio-data and SSCE/NECO results online through https://www.admissions.ui.edu.ng.
The deadline for submission of bio-data / O/level results may not be extended. Therefore, any candidate whose bio-data are not submitted within the stipulated time will not be considered for Post-UTME Screening and admission.
How to pay for 2018/2019 Post UTME form
All Candidates are required to use their Jamb Registration Number as their username to log-in to the Admission Portal (https://www.admissions.ui.edu.ng) and use their surname as their password.
- Jamb registration = 65345521EG- login username
- Name= OYEKANMI (Surname) Chibuzor Umar- use OYEKANMI as the password
The candidate is required to pay the sum of N2.000.00 as the screening fee through the ADMISSION PORTAL in favor of the University of Ibadan (Admission Processing Fee Account).
The candidate’s name, JAMB Registration Number, Telephone Number and a valid Email address should be quoted at the point of payment.
Payment Options include;
- Cash at the bank using the print-out from the portal to make payment at the bank
- Credit/Debit Card Payment using ATM card
- Direct bank account debit whereby you use your internet banking tools to make payment.
Kindly note that you are expected to print the payment success slip/receipt which should display full names of the candidate (SURNAME first) as the UTME result slip preceded by the JAMB Registration number, as the payee and the payment reference number showing the success message.
Once you have successfully paid for the form, you should proceed to the portal to submit his or her bio-data and O/level results.
All candidates must ensure the information given is 100% accurate, any misspellings or other mistakes may lead to disqualification.
All online forms MUST be filled in CAPITAL letters only.
All candidates MUST upload their recent passport photographs and signatures. The image format for the passport and signature is JPEG and must not exceed 50kb.
Please note that all photographs must be plain and without glasses, cap, or head tie.
After you have successfully filled and uploaded your passport photograph, you are to print out the proof of completion of the transaction and keep for further reference. However, Preview (double check) and confirm your information before submitting our application online. Do not be in a hurry to submit your application because once you submit your form, there will be no avenue for correction after the closing date.
An online help desk platform on http://www.admissions.ui.edu.ng/helpdesk will be available to handle all legitimate inquiries.
Date of Post UTME
The time for the post UTME will be communicated to candidates through their e-mail addresses and SMS. Candidates are therefore advised to provide valid and active email addresses and phone numbers. The University will not take responsibility for failure to get information as a result of invalid email addresses and functional phone numbers.
WARNING: Misrepresentation/falsification of documents is a serious offense. We implore all candidates to submit genuine documents only. Offenders will be disqualified automatically and in appropriate cases, be handed over to the Law Enforcement Agencies.
All candidates are strongly advised to strictly obey the guidelines stated above for successful completion of the online submissions.
